What would you like to be able to do in your patio? That’s usually one of the first questions that we are going to be asking any person that comes through our door or gives us a call and wants to know about this service. There are a lot of different avenues that we can explore with patios. We are of the mindset that it’s our duty to create surfaces that you are going to be able to enjoy. If you work with us, you know that we are going to be creating a concrete patio. That basically means it’s going to be durable, it can be smooth and easy to walk on. From there though, you have the power to create a truly unique surface.
We know that we said the same thing for driveways, but we just believe it’s overly important for people to understand that when they work with us, they have options! We can help you design a patio that is going to allow you to accommodate all of the different features that you could be looking to add to the area. You don’t have to be satisfied with a blog of concrete that you would have to adapt to. We want to adapt the surface to your needs, not have you find a way to make due with what is already there.
Speaking of the blob of concrete, if you want to have a patio that is not your typical gray rectangle, we can provide that for you. We could potentially create a stamped concrete surface or a sealed concrete patio. There are a wide variety of options that we could potentially explore on this end. If you are looking to create a surface with its own unique look and feel or you want it fit in with the vibe of the rest of the house, we can help you do that.
How Long Can I Expect A Patio To Last?
Concrete patios are usually not going to get an excessive amount of foot traffic worse yet vehicle traffic. What may be seen as the biggest concern is setting up a patio next grass or a swampy area. Moisture can become a little bit more of a problem in these cases. For the most part though, if you have a patio that is properly built and doesn’t have any type of moisture it could remain in decent condition for well over 50 years. You may be looking to update one that looks old but is not necessarily worn down. For patios getting you can expect to get a couple of decades out of them at the minimum.
What Could Bring Problems To Patios?
Since we are talking about how long you can expect patios to last, we should probably talk about what can cause trouble for them. As we mentioned moisture, in the long run, can be an issue. Patios next to grass will be more exposed. Other than that, the problems that we see occur in freak accidents where a grill or a large structure falls on the concrete and breaks it. This is not a common occurrence though.
